I’ve spent years working in writers’ rooms and on the production side of film and television. From proofreading and editing hundreds of scripts as a writer’s assistant, to moving into a writer role on NCIS: Los Angeles, to pitching projects across town, to setting up projects with Oscar winning producers — and eventually launching my own independent production company.

Since launching KimberMark, I have wanted to find a way to not only find projects to produce, but to develop and help writers create the best possible projects they can. I built this space as a way to offer my time and expertise in a fair and transparent way to do just that.

Here’s what that means: I’m consulting on your pitch, screenplay, or idea. That might be through a detailed proofread to get your draft clean and submission ready for managers, agents, contests, fellowships, or cold queries. It might be through development notes that dig into story, structure, and character. Or, if you’re ready to take things further, I can work to help package your project on your behalf — from pitch decks to co-production advice to financing outreach. In every case, I’m putting in real time and work to give you actionable notes and a clear strategy so your project has the strongest possible chance to succeed. And communicating with you the whole way.

I’m not selling access or promising results I can’t control. Film and television are risky by nature, and no one can guarantee success. What I provide is a clear-eyed, professional process rooted in years of experience, so you can take the next step with confidence.
